COURSES IN FLORENCE

Taking a course at Scuola di Cucina Lorenzo de’ Medici is a unique experience both for the professionalism of the didactic offering and the prestigious venue in which courses take place: in the Central Market in Florence, putting course participants in direct contact with the market’s top-quality culinary ingredients and food producers, true “artisans of taste” and an endless source of culinary inspiration.

All courses at Scuola di Cucina are taught by professional chefs in state-of-the-art, air conditioned kitchens designed by Arclinea.

Eight workstations (for two people each) are equipped with innovative appliances by Franke, including magnetic induction cooktops, a complete roster of kitchen utensils and appliances.

Each course begins with a focus to quality products, learning the production and their nutritional aspects. Culinary culture and the high professionalism of our chefs ensure a complete learning experience behind the burner.

Participants can follow every step of the preparation of a recipe, from the food design on the plate to the final tasting, which takes place at the chef’s table in a relaxed atmosphere with other participants of the course, with each person discussing and commenting on the final results.

A confirmation email will be sent to each client with all the relevant information regarding the chosen course/s.

A minimum number of participants needs to register in order for the course to run effectively. The deadline to register is the day before the date at 1.00pm.

In the same time an email about the confirmation or cancellation of the cooking class will be sent to all the participants. Please check your email.

In the event that the minimum number of participants is not reached for each specific course, the course in question will be canceled and clients registered in that course will be offered a full refund.

The price includes  the cooking class, ingredients, the final tasting with a glass of wine,  water, an apron with the logo of Scuola di Cucina Lorenzo de’ Medici, a folder with all the information, recipes, a certificate and the insurance for the participants.t
